There are many subscribers for our newsletter. Whenever I’m expecting puppies, I will send one message to all subscribers and ask who would be interested in one of the puppies from the upcoming litter. Usually, I’ll look for about 25 people in my files, people who are appealing to me and it usually concerns people who have been waiting for quite a while. I’m trying to handle it in an honest way. Not just everyone will qualify, but it’s always possible to wait for a next litter.

Unfortunately I’ll have to change this way of working, because it’s becoming a bit too much for me. I’m getting phone calls, emails and other messages asking for puppies every day. Filled out questionnaires keep coming in, but most people eventually will lose interest. Of course, I understand that, but in those cases it has just been a waste of energy. It takes me many hours of writing and calling and when this leads to nothing, that’s kind of frustrating.

Next time, I’ll pick some people from my waiting list who have been waiting for the longest time and from now on, I will also pick one person or family who has recently registered, so everyone will get a fair chance. Of course we will have an introductory meeting before you’ll end up on the actual waiting list.

  1. You fill out a questionnaire and pay € 19,50 for registration and administration. In return I keep and guard your data and you will be in the picture. I answer all correspondence and you qualify for an introductory meeting. I will not have to dig into hundreds of filled out questionnaires and won’t have to worry about forgetting people, because this won’t happen. Please don’t forget to pay. I’m still receiving a lot of filled out questionnaires without payment. I wil ignore these.
  2. If you won’t qualify for a puppy or you decline, no problem. Just let me know and I’ll remove you from the files. You will not receive a refund.
  3. Make sure that you are eligible for a puppy, by reading what’s on the questionnaire. You’ll have to realize that I would like to be happy with you as a new owner of one of my precious puppies. I don’t like my puppies to be alone for longer periods of time. Not as a puppy and not as an adult dog. If you’re from abroad, please think of reason why I should sell a puppy to you. I don’t want to be unkind, but there are so many people in The Netherlands who’d love to have a puppy from me; there should be a good reason for me to sell to you. I don’t care for more money.
  4. I don’t breed for colour, so don’t ask me for a redfawn puppy with a lack mask or something like that. It’s impossible and people who choose our kennel for the right reasons, understand this perfectly. Of course you can ask me what colours I expect from a certain combination and of course you can prefer a male or a female. With us, you cannot pick your puppy. When they have reached the age of 7 or 8 weeks, after their spinal x-rays and after puppy socialization at the dogs activity centre, puppies will be appointed to their new owners in consultation.
  5. After the introductory meeting you can be put on our waiting list for a certain combination of parents. It’s also possible that you’ll have to wait a little bit longer; it’s hard to estimate this right now.
  6. People from abroad will have to keep in mind that I’ll only let one puppy per litter go abroad. Our puppies are full family members and keeping more than one puppy for more than 7 or 8 weeks extra (because of the 15 weeks regulations) is too much of a burden to me, both physically as well as emotionally. I don’t have a barn of cage where i can put them when I’m tired.

I have already noticed that most people don’t register and that was exactly what I was hoping for. It’s not that I don’t like you or don’t want you to have a puppy; but I’m just a small breeder and puppies don’t grow on my trees, as we say over here. If you do want to wait, fantastic! If you’re a subscriber to my newsletter and even if you have been waiting already, you’ll have to register and pay the registration fee, otherwise I’ll think you’re no longer interested. The last time I had puppies, I’ve sent emails to people who would not respond or they’d respond too late. This is very time consuming and frustrating, not just for me, but also for other people who are waiting. So please be certain if you apply for a puppy.

If you’d rather have an adult dog who needs to be rehomed, you’ll have to register in the same way. I don’t interfere with the compensation asked for the dogs who need to be rehomed. I do not like dogs to be given away fro free, that’s all. People who have a dog that needs rehoming can also register in the same way. I’m looking for French Bulldogs who need rehoming and stumble upon them regularly. I can bring these people together.

Keeping the Covid-19 virus into account, we have the following precautions: introductory meetings and puppy visiting will take place in the open air as much as possible (we have a beautiful park nearby and you can take your car there) Puppies and mother can join us (depending on their age and the weather). Of course, we will keep our distance and we won’t shake hands. If you’d like to cuddle with the puppies, you’ll have to wear gloves and facemask for as long as our government thinks it’s necessary. You can visit with a maximum of three people and as often as you wish.

If you’re from a far away country, keep in mind that I don’t let my puppies fly by airplane unaccompanied and I will need to have seen you in person before you can be put on the waiting list. In that case, send me an email

Please check out our planning to see what’s to be expected for the next year or so. The waiting list for our next litter in January 2022 is full. Waiting time is now estimated at 1,5 to 2 years.
