Alweer een tweede prijsaanpassing in twee jaar tijd. Helaas ontkom ook ik er niet aan, gezien de ontwikkelingen op de huidige ‘markt’. Zoals ik op mijn pagina over de prijs ook al uitleg, is het de grote vraag naar Franse Bulldog pups die de prijs opstuwt, maar zijn het ook mijn hoge kosten die een hogere prijs verantwoorden.
Omdat ik mijn financiële zaken op een professionele manier moet aanpakken, heb ik een administratiekantoor in de arm moet nemen voor mijn boekhouding. Uiteraard zijn administratiekantoren ook geen filantropische instellingen en zijn daar kosten aan verbonden. Gelukkig kan ik dan weer zelf deze website onderhouden, maar het hosten ervan en het streamen van de camerabeelden kosten maandelijks veel geld. Alle andere kosten die gepaard gaan met het op verantwoorde wijze fokken van een nestje Franse Bulldogs, kunt u op bovengenoemde pagina vinden.
De aanschaf en het medisch screenen van mijn honden zijn ook een grote kostenpost. Voorlopig kan ik concluderen dat ze toch heel vaak ongeschikt blijken als ik zulke strenge selectiecriteria hanteer en dat is nu eenmaal mijn werkwijze, dus dat brengt automatisch hogere kosten met zich mee. Omdat pupkopers hiervan profiteren, is het niet meer dan logisch dat ze hier ook aan mee moeten betalen.
De prijs van mijn pups in 2017 zal € 1850 gaan bedragen. Dit is inclusief BTW, dus € 350 gaat er per pup naar de belastingdienst, ongeacht het feit of ik winst maak of niet. Gelukkig is dat niet het geval, want anders zou ik ook nog eens winstbelasting moeten betalen. Het is Nederland he 😉 Ik realiseer me heel goed dat € 1850 voor veel mensen een astronomisch bedrag is. Ik vind het dan ook heel jammer als het voor bepaalde mensen onbetaalbaar is geworden, maar ik ben degene die het financiële risico loopt om u een gezonde pup te bezorgen en daar mag best iets tegenover staan. Ik vind niet dat ik de enige moet zijn die de financiële offers brengt.

As I’m explaining on my page about prices, it’s the big demand for French Bulldog puppies that’s pushing the price up, but there are also my higher costs that explain a higher price.
Because I have to do my financial business in a professional way, I had to hire an accountant to take care of those things. They are no philanthropic institutions, so costs are involved. Luckily I’m able to maintain this website myself, but hosting it and the streaming of the video’s are expensive. All other costs that explain the price of my puppies can be found on the price page.
Buying new dogs and medically screening them is also a huge expense. For now I can draw the conclusion that in many cases, they are not suitable for breeding, at least not when I’m sticking to my strict criteria of selection. Since that’s the way I work, it automatically involves higher costs. Because puppy buyers take advantage of this, it’s just logical that they’ll have to pay for it.
The price of my puppies will be € 1850 in 2017. This includes € 350 of VAT, which I have to pay no matter if I’m making a profit or not. Luckily that’s not the case, otherwise I would have to pay income tax as well. Hey, it’s The Netherlands we’re talking about 😉 I do realize that € 1850 is an astronomical amount of money for many people. It’s sad if it has become too expensive for some people, but I am the one who is taking the financial risk in order to give you that healthy puppy. I don’t think I should be the only one to make the financial sacrifice.
